GDPR and Privacy
Driftmark is built with privacy by design and by default in mind. We aim to collect the minimum amount of personal data needed to operate the service, avoid intrusive tracking, and keep data handling transparent and predictable.
This page provides a short overview. For full details, please read our Privacy Notice.
Who we process data for
Driftmark relates to two main groups of data subjects:
1) Account holders (status page creators and administrators). We process account and service-operation data so you can create, manage, and publish status pages, and so we can secure and maintain the service.
2) Subscribers to notifications. If you subscribe to updates for a status page, we process your email address (or equivalent) and subscription metadata to deliver the notifications you requested. Subscriber data are not shared with the status page creator (only aggregated counts and trends may be shown).
Key principles
We design and operate Driftmark to:
- avoid selling personal data and avoid advertising use;
- avoid third-party cookies and behavioural tracking;
- store and process data within the EU/EES using EU/EES-based infrastructure and providers; and
- apply appropriate security measures and access controls.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may, depending on the circumstances, have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and to withdraw consent where applicable. Details on how we handle requests and retention are set out in the Privacy Notice.
